When girlfriends get together, amazing things happen! Not so long ago, a few of us met through Girls Inc. and became girlfriends. One day we were sitting and chatting about the importance of friends, family, fun, adventure, meaningful work — and giving back to the community. Out of that conversation, and united by our love for Girls Inc. and its mission, the idea for the GirlFriends Club was born.
Inspired by women like you, the GirlFriends Club is comprised of dedicated and successful local women and their girlfriends. Its mission is to foster female camaraderie while providing direct, ongoing interaction with our girls, involving women who personally want to make a difference in a girl’s life.
For the first time, through the GirlFriends Club we’re providing ongoing opportunities for volunteers to work with Girls Inc. of Greater Santa Barbara girls. As a member, you will create memories with your girlfriends that will not only enrich your lives, but forever touch the lives of our girls.
GirlFriends Club membership features two members–only components:
GirlFriends Just Want to Have Fun — And you will, too, as you attend a selection of unique, fun-filled events you’ll share with your friends. You’ll interact with women of similar interests, reconnect with old friends and make new ones.
GirlFriends for Girls Inc. Girls — Club members will have the unique opportunity to have fun with our girls by participating in a variety of creative, interactive volunteer activities.
Because we believe the footprints we leave in the hearts of so many girls makes an indelible mark, we thank you from the depths of our own hearts for being such a treasured girlfriend to the thousands of young women Girls Inc. serves in our community every year. Your commitment touches and inspires each of us to be stronger, smarter, and bolder!
