The GirlFriends Club is the innovative creation of a small group of girlfriends who shared a desire to give back to the community and a love for Girls Inc.’s mission of inspiring all girls to be strong smart and bold. Girls Inc. supporters Anne Luther, Laura Nixon Miller, Sudi Staub, Sarah Stokes and Caroline Thompson, envisioned a club made up of dedicated, successful, local women who were as passionate about Girls Inc. as they.
The GirlFriend’s Club mission is to promote camaraderie, volunteerism, and support for Girls Inc. of Greater Santa Barbara by attracting new donors and garnering greater exposure for the organization. Through specially designed events and activities members will create lasting memories with their own girlfriends while knowing that they are touching the lives of girls in the Santa Barbara and Goleta communities.
