GirlFriends Just Want To Have Fun
Here’s your opportunity to play, play, play – share what you know and learn from others, while creating good times with old and new girlfriends. A portion of the proceeds from each event will benefit Girls Inc. programs and scholarships.
Girls Night Out — Shop till we drop! Join your best girlfriends for after–hours premier shopping with delicious libations, tasty treats, and guilt–free shopping, with special pricing on fashions, decorative accessories, and gifts.
Girls Night In — Celebrate sisterhood with cinema! Enjoy an evening with your girlfriends in a private screening room with popcorn and champagne included in the ticket price. And don't forget to BYOT (bring your own tissues)!
GirlFriends Getaway — A girls-only day away. Private behind–the–scenes “tours with a view.” Enjoy art, culture, shopping, and chocolate as our generous travel partners donate a percentage of your passport to Girls Inc. of Greater Santa Barbara.
Best GirlFriends Forever — You and your best gal pals will want to be part of this thought–provoking evening. Come celebrate friendships at this fun–filled, informative event and hear from our guest speaker about how to honor the female relationships in your life. Price of admission is free to GFC members.
The GirlFriends’ Project — Our annual fundraiser is an out–of–the–box event. Not the traditional sit–down lunch or black–tie dinner, this an exciting creative evening that will surprise you and your girlfriends each year. There will be a VIP reception prior to the event for GFC members only.

Here’s your opportunity to have fun with the girls through a variety of creative volunteer activities.
Endless Opportunities — The most exciting thing about the GirlFriends Club is that you really are the driving force behind it! This means we want to hear from you about how you want to work with our girls. Are you a chef and want to host a cooking class? Perhaps you’re an artist with a project you know the girls will love. Is reading hour your favorite time of day and you want to share it with the girls? Truly, the options are as infinite as your creativity and enthusiasm will allow. Use the Member Profile to share your ideas with us and let’s get this party started!
Happy Halloween — Our girls love Halloween and you are going to love being a part of their Halloween celebrations! Each year our Centers host Halloween parties and a Haunted House. Bring a smile to a girl’s face by participating in the creation and execution of these events.
Parents’ Night Out — Help give our girls’ parents a much-needed night out. A few times each year, our Centers invite the girls to hang out and have fun after our regular programming so that their parents can have a night on their own. This is a great opportunity for you to have some play-time with the girls. Dance, art, spa, karaoke – the fun activities that can be done on these nights are limitless!
Girls Inc. Theatre Production — Do you have a flair for the dramatic? How are your sewing and painting skills? Each year our girls produce a play and need all kinds of help. There are many opportunities to interact with the girls during planning and rehearsal, as well as on the night of the actual event.
Summer Carnival — Summer is the perfect time to get out and enjoy a carnival. Our girls love helping organize and participating in the Girls Inc. of Greater Santa Barbara Summer Carnival, and you can be a part of it! Work with the girls to come up with games and booths or help “(wo)man” the activities and watch the girls experience Summer Carnival fun!
Car Washes – Remember your fun memories of childhood car washes? The amazing energy our girls exert during our Center car washes will surely leave you with a smile. Grab a bucket and be part of a girl’s childhood memories that will last a lifetime.
