2008 SUMMER REGISTRATION

• Camp Hours: 9:00am to 6:00pm
• $35 registration fee
• $390 per session ($130 per week)
• Individual week $140

Located at 4973 Hollister Avenue, our Goleta Valley Center inspires girls in Goleta, Santa Barbara and Hope area to be strong, smart & bold. Girls ages 5 - 14 years participate in our after school and all day summer programs in an all girl environment. Our summer program hours are from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm and after school program hours are from school dismissal to 6:00 pm. We provide transportation from schools in the Goleta School District and Hope School District to our center. We are licensed by the State of California, Community Care Licensing and meet or exceed these standards.

Girls at our Goleta Valley Center receive quality, structured programming consistent with Girls Incorporated's Philosophy and Approach to Programming. Each quarter girls select which programs they would like to participate in for that specific quarter. For example, a girl may select Pets & Vets on Mondays, Earth Action on Tuesdays, Operation SMART on Wednesdays, and Softball on Thursdays. Program Staff at our Goleta Valley Center have degrees or are pursuing degrees in such fields as elementary education, psychology, sociology, dramatic arts, biology, sports and recreation. All staff meet or exceed state licensing requirements. Program Staff receive extensive training throughout their employment at Girls Inc. Training focuses on child development (cognitive, physical, emotional) with a specific emphasis on girls' needs, behavior guidance and facilitation skills, curriculum writing and implementation, and program evaluation. Program staff to girl ratio is 1:14.

• Full Time (3 days or more) $90 per week
• Part Time (2 days or less)  $50 per week
• *Full Day or Holidays         $28 per day

After School Program Kinderfun          

• Full Time (3 days or more) $90 per week
• Part Time (2 days or less)  $50 per week
• *Full Day or Holidays         $28 per day

Summer Program All Ages                   

• Full Time (3 days or more) $140 per week
• Part Time (2 days or less)  $70 per week

*Full days and Holidays include, but are not limited to: Lincoln’s Birthday, Spring Break, Veteran’s Day, Winter Break.

*We do offer Sibling Discount- Full price for the first child and then 50% off for any additional child. ASP Membership Fee: $50, sliding scale fee applies.
