For our 50th Anniversary, the stork (in the form of many hardworking and generous volunteers and staff) has arrived to deliver Girls Incorporated of Greater Santa Barbara with a brand new, beautiful girl – a big 20,000 square foot girl that is!  The new Girls Inc. Goleta Valley Center is now officially open and hundreds of girls will attend every weekday to participate in a variety of educational after school and summer programs.

The new Girls Incorporated facility will: provide a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where girls can be strong, smart and bold; provide programs that have solid research and evaluation as their foundation and are effective in encouraging girls to acquire skills, gain confidence, practice leadership, and become self-reliant; provide services for over 200 girls daily, more than twice the number of Goleta area girls currently served, and will strengthen the greater community by preparing girls to lead successful and fulfilling lives.

The new Girls Incorporated Goleta Valley facility and outdoor program space offers:

Our new center is open and partially furnished.  We will be adding interior components as we can afford them.  In the meantime, if you want to help “shower” our new “baby girl” with gifts, we have registered for items to equip our beautiful new Girls Inc. Goleta Valley Center kitchen. 

People interested in donating NEW kitchen items to us, not things they may already have (which are also greatly appreciated!), then a fun way to purchase and donate those items is through our registry at either Macy's or Linens 'n Things.

Gifts may be offered as a one time payment or pledged over time.

• Gifts of $50,000 or more will be acknowledged on the marble donor wall in the lobby AND with a room naming opportunity of the donor’s choice (based on existing room naming opportunities at time of gift).
